I went to the beach today out in LI smithpoint beach.. it was nice chilly day so thought it would be cool to take a drive ... so went on the beach.. lower my tires pressure to 20 lbs..went on trail.. the sands was pretty much thick so i shift it to 4L went on okay.. as soon we got out of the beach.. there was a muddy trail..So I shift it out to 4H and went on whooping fun.. it was nice fun bumping ride..i think i pushed it little too far.. not too sure but as soon i got out of the beach to fill up my air.. all of sudden the tranny fluids was pouring out underneath the truck so i had to walk to the store and bought 2 quarts of tranny fluids..fill it up and drove home..so as later in the evening i went to check the tranny fluids just in case.. it was pretty much low below 2 dots on the dips even i fill up 2 qt.. and no sign of leaking on my driveway...as i looked in my explorer manuals.. it say 10 quarts ?? so i have 93 explorer xlt with 3.73 gear axle automatic tranny 4.0 motor anyone have problem ?? im kinda scare of my tranny to blew it cuz im on really tight budget and need it to go work ...so..any feed back would be greatly appreactie it.. what king of tranny fluids to buy ? which is the best..and how do i prevent it from overheat.. it happend twice .. thanks so much.. any brand of fluids or what ?? again thanks so much..
