For the life of me i can't figure out where this vacuum line goes to. It all started yesterday, when I attempted to do the 00M12 install, (which was a waste of time). My ex is suffering from hard starts, and just stalling when driving, foot usually off the gas pedal and when turning.

I have since discovered my Explorer Sport 2001 has a 2002 engine, so the kit was worthless. But least i got to clean all the manifolds. Anyway there is this red vacumm tube just sticking up, when i took off the Upper manifold it wasnt attached to something, but it was pushed down behind the manifold. but it wasnt attached to anything..

Here you can see it coming out of the upper manifold, three vacuum tubes, one goes over off to the other side and then one goes and becomes two tubes and there is the third lost one -:)

Now that i have taken it off and put it back on its sticking right up. So im thinking this could be what is cuasing my hard start and stalling?? I have attached some pics so you guys can see.. I have done some searches but most of the threads talk about 94-99 explorers. And the diagram on the front of my explorer is not at all helpful.

Here is two more pics
