Help with Air Intake

I recently removed my stock air box and filter and installed a perfomance air filter. Ever since then I get Check Engine Codes P0172 and P0174 (Too Rich) bank 1 and 2. If I re install the stock parts it goes away. I tried reseting the ECU by disconnecting battery for 10 min but after driving for a while the check light comes back on. Has anyone else had this problem or what should I do after the filter change???

uhmm im not sure with the 99s but with my 94, well when it was a 4.0, there was to hoses that went to the top of the air box. if those arent hooked up it could be sending the code

The newer ones don't have those tubes.
