I'm getting ready to do a complete axle swap from a '97 Explorer with 4.10 gears and disc's already on the axle. (onto a '94) While doing the swap I'm also doing a SOA conversion, I'm not sure what to do about the brakes though, does anybody have suggestions about combining the new with the old? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Derek

You need to get the master cylinder and proportioning valve from the 97. yours isn't set up for rear discs and they wll drag because the drums are set up to have some pressure on them even when you are not using the brakes.
