HELP with ball joint changeout

hi im new here and have to admit that im in over my head with changing the bll joints on my sons 1989 bronco II. i dont have much experience with 4x4's. the local place wanted over $1000 to change them. he has already invested 1500 i know that it cant be that hard just need someone that knows (why im here asking you guys) what the proper procewdure would be to go about this any help would be great thanks alot

Welcome to this forum! You would want to start with a ball joint press tool such as this one: http://www.explorerforum.com/reviewpost/showproduct.php/product/293/cat/500. You could get a loaner from Autozone with a deposit if you don't want to buy one.

you'll need the press,i had a problem getting mine out so i picked up a torch and burned em' out.
