Ok I'm in the process of putting new body mounts on my X, at the same time I'm putting on a body lift. My problem is that the nuts for the mounts are trash.

My question is, since I'm putting on a bodylift I already have new bolts, can I just go buy new nuts for the bottom or do I need to get something like the stock ones with a sleeve attached to it ???

Thanks,

Joe...

I had threaded on my 2nd gen, when I put on the body lift I had to drill through the existing threads and put a washer and nut on the bottom...to go a little further I just had a 96 nissan jump a median and land in front of me...needless to say I PLOWED him. Bent the crash bar, broke 2 sets of fogs twisted the bumper a bit...but the body didn't budge and inch. Solid as a rock...

A washer and nut, use grade 8 stuff and you should be good to go.

Make sure the bolts are long enough, I hadda hunt for grade 8 bolts long enough to go all the way through to do my body lift...
