First I would like to say that the sales and finance department are great, good people. Now with that said my experience was not as good as a whole. Two simple things that should have been fixed on the vehicle that they promised they would fix was not. Both the passenger side and driver side windshield molding was clearly falling off. They promised to repair it, which was part of the agreement for me to buy the vehicle. They gave me the key with only one side repaired. After I complained they sent a white shirt manager to inspect. He actually had the nerve to tell me that he didn't know he had to fix the other side. (It was falling off). He eventually takes it back to repair it, then brings it back to me GLUED on, with some sort of crazy glue with finger prints all over the door. What was even more frustrating they took off the driver side door molding for some reason. It was never broken (now that’s broken and that is even glued. (Looks like crap also) more finger prints.

The thing that gets me is that this is the second time I had service issues with them for a new purchase. Stevens Ford of 112 Patchogue NY. But Shame on me for trusting that they will do the right thing a second time.

Back to the windshield, the weather stripping is installed wrong and looks real bad. They broke the clip that's holds another molding on the bottom of the windshield. I know it's a used 2017 but I spent 26,000.

They gave me the car like this which tells me they don't care at all about the quality of their service, and just wanted my money. They have no pride in what they do and no integrity, smoke and mirrors bait and switch. Could I have kept pushing for them to do the right thing? (YES) but after working for weeks straight between the military and the state. I was Exhausted!

Even if I did bring it back to them for a 3rd time what’s going to come out of it? The same poor quality. Unfortunately one hour of work is too much for them to insure they deliver quality over quantity.

Has anyone ever dealt with a dealer like this one? Most likely I will push the issue again, but right now I don’t even want to enter the store.

It saddens me to write yet ANOTHER bad review. I'm going to give it a little and see if I'll be contacted to get this squared away. Maybe after my google review showing the pictures, I might get better service. Highly doubt it tho. I had to fight tooth and nails the last time.

Welcome to the Forum.
The piece you are holding is the 'A' pillar. Is that what you are referring to as the "windshield molding"? The fact that you are holding it like you are is an indication that it needs to be replaced. The plastic clips are likely broken and you will need new ones. Explorer 'A' pillar replacement
Is the 2nd picture the trim on the driver's door? It's hard to tell with the closeup.
You should also check the leading edge of the hood for paint bubbles. If you find any, that is an indication of corrosion and it requires a new hood. This has a 5 year, unlimited warranty on hood replacement.

Yes it does have bubbles and it is the drives side door trim where you enter your code. Thanks for the info on the hood I would luv to get that replaced.

Okay, that is what I thought it was. The 'B' pillar with the Securicode keyless entry. I hope their body shop does a better paint job than the repair you showed.

Yeah so do I it's sad that they operate like this with little regard to customer satisfaction.
