I just had my clutch replaced about 200 miles ago. I was up on our land screwin' around and i started to smell something burning up. At one point white smoke started to come from under the hood of my explorer. I shut it off and let it cool down for a good 10 minutes and decided to head home. about a 1/2 mile down the road once i left my land I was driving in 3rd gear and just like that it is like i am in neutral all the time. Now i can put it in any gear but the truck does not move. Did i burm my clutch up or is this my tranny. I also pulled it home reaching speeds of 45 tops. Will this have any adverse effects on the transfer case? Thanks

Sounds like your clutch is slipping. You might want to take it back to the shop that changed it and have them adjust it. I do not think you hurt you tranny.
