I want to get a new exhaust for my 97 mountaineer. I was looking at the flowmasters I want something with a nice sound to it nothing extremely loud but a mild rumble to it. The problem is that the stock exhaust has dual in and single out. Could I cut that out and then add a Y-pipe to and install the flowmaster? Because its single in single out.
Thanks

Yeah I saw that but they're like $150 haha I'm kind of cheap and was looking at the single in and single out because they're like $80

I did the cherry bomb extreme dual in and out but I have the 5.0 and it's the same as the flowmaster 10 series so it's loud lol.

Have you heard any of them in person? If so how do they sound? Are the loud or mild?

They are a mild muffler almost silent at idle and a bit of sound at revs and or under a load.
