Help with jbl sound system

Hey, I'm trying to help my friend who had his woofer blow in his 1993 xlt. He has the JBL premium sound system, and i just have a few questions so I can get him a new speaker. He doesn't want to upgrade the amp or anything, and he wants to spend less than $50. It doesn't have to be anything great, he just wants it replaced since it is blown.

1. How many watts does the factory amp put out?
2. What ohm is the factory speaker? I was figuring 4 ohms but not sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it is the same as my 92 EB---I think the front amp is 60 watts and the rear 80? It is late right now but tomorrow will look at the booklet with the information. I will let you know tomorrow night.

I originally replaced the stock sub with a JL 8W0. You have to trim the enclosure a bit since the stock sub is 6 inches, but it is not too hard to do.
