My guess is your bank 1 VVT variable timing solenoid? Looks like the rear bank, at the firewall on the passenger side?

Bunch of youtube videos on how to clean them. Hope I got it right?

Ok here is the part:

Looks exactly like it, with a black plug on top and silver on the bottom:

Looks Like it comes with a black gasket that goes around it to seal it. I don't suggest buying it there, I just used that link so you could look at the part for reference. Hope that helps.

I was just using the site to locate the part and give us a visual of the part. I have never bought parts from there, but I assume any sensors should be motorcraft? I have yet to change any sensors and I unfortunately do not have an ecoboost. Only a 3.7 in my garage. Maybe in a couple years I can get an ecoboost to play with.
