Okay guys I am getting ready to start my next project, something I should have done a few months ago.
My front shocks are toooo long for the stock shock mounts, I knew this when I bought them because I planned to do this months ago.
My shocks will bottom out before I hit the bumpstops.
I need to install some F-250 shock mounts.
This requires cutting/grinding off the stock mount from the coil bucket, and drilling the frame to bolt on the new F-250 mounts. That part is easy.
Back in CO I would then head over to Brett's house to have him run a bead (weld) the new mount to the stock bucket, well since I moved to So Cal (San Juan Capistrano) I dont have any friends, let alone friends with a mig welder! hahaha so if anybody wants to run a couple beads for me or point me to a shop that would, I am all ears!!
Thanks!!!
