Hello,
I'm new to the forum. I had some repairs done to my 1995 Explorer Eddie Bauer edition (replace the rear gate). The problem is is that the rear gate does not lock. You can hear (and see) that the knob goes down (when pressing the lock on the remote) but then it comes back up. The actuator appears to be working. I believe that it is not hooked up correctly. I have tore the back panel off before to look but don't see anything wrong. It appears as if the wire harness can only be attached one way (figured it might be wired wrong). Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
