help with steering shaft part

does anyone know if this part has a name? i can only find to replace it if i buy the whole column and would prefer not to have to buy all that. if anyone knows how i can get this part separately that would be great.

I believe that is the Steering Gear Intermediate Shaft assembly.

There is a bearing under that cap that you should be able to cross-reference by the bearing number and replace inexpensively.
