help with transmission

What's the easiest option to replace an a4ld with another transmission.....rebuild? Another a4ld? I need help I wanted to put a 5 speed but I just don't know

You could rebuild it yourself. What's the problem with it? It might not need an entire rebuild.

Honestly Idk if I put it in drive it revs very high and creeps at like 1 mph with a horrible noise and vibration. Also if I put it in overdrive while doing 60 and stomp the gas it just revs and doesn't shift into passing gear.

Did you test the hydraulic pressure in each gear range? You could adjust the bands & kickdown cable along with a fluid & filter change.
