My 2002 Ford Explorer XLT is down and they can't seem to find the problem. My mechanic thought it was one of the sensors that was causing the problem since the overdrive light was flasting and the check engine soon light came on and it just stopped working but when he replaced them, the vechicle still jerked and hesitated. Now he thinks it has to do with the transmission but it's a new transmission. Can somebody explain how a new transmission can have a problem and what the problem is.
