Help me my 1998 ford explorer xlt is running like crap! For the last couple weeks I have been working on it the vehicle shakes and hesitates during accelaration. So far I have did a tune up,changed the egr valve,the maf sensor and the coil.but it has not helped.now it has developed a new problem it starts then cuts off and takes a minute to start back! When turning the wheel on passenger side sounds and feels l ike its scrubbing! Any suggestions!

Shaking and hesitation indicates a lack of fuel or a miss so it sounds like you need to go all the way and do a complete tune up with a fuel filter, spark plugs, and wires if you did not already do those things. Also, clean the throttle body too.

Do the fuel filter first. I went and did a tune up with no change and after I changed my fuel filter I noticed a world of a difference.
