Where is the All Ford Nationals this May being held ? I don't know If I will have her on the road in time. I take her off the road in the winters as she has never seen rain, snow or anything else but sunny day's and w/ only 3,939 miles you can see I don't go on long trips.

They are being held in Carlisle, PA on May 30. It's a little over 200 miles from you. I can understand if you don't want to make the drive. You can always go in another car... but we would LOVE to see the XP8

Nice to see the other XP8's come out and be counted.

The exhaust is a Borla unit. The Saleen literature refers to them as "custom."

According to the Saleen registry, there were 18 made in '00 and 1 in '01.

That is exactly what my truck looks like. Exactly.

Now, I was lead to believe that is precisely my truck by the dealer.

Whether the VIN numbers match, I couldn't tell you.

If you doubt my ownership of this truck, I would gladly provide pics, although not as handsome, to prove otherwise.

I'm not trying to misrepresent myself here.

And, no, I don't belong to cardomain, or whatever.

do we have second saleenxp8? i thought that he was the guy from new jersey who got booted from the site- but this post certainly doesn't seem to be him.

either way great truck! i like the saleens a lot and i agree that someone needs to put a real motor in one of them. a blown 347 would be incredible.

no. i was not doubting you. i have that exact same pic in my hard drive, which i copied and pasted it from Saleen's website.

that's a nice truck man. but just to let you know, i too have that exact picture hanging on my wall. the truck in the picture has 01 on the front bumper. i am sure that your truck has 12 on the bumper. your truck might look exactly like the picture, but i don't think it is the same truck that was used to take the picture. i think your dealer gave you the wrong info. either way......it looks awesome! i wish my truck had chrome rims.

Why was he booted? He has a Saleen XP8 and I've even seen his XP8, and met him, in person - several times. I am from the same town as he is.
