I realize that this is the Explorer Forum, but I thought I'd post to see if anyone has any additional information. I have an '89 Bronco II with a hesitation problem over 45 mph. (Tach drops by 1000 rpm intermittently.) I already replaced the spark plugs and wires, air filter, fuel filter, and put new gas in. I pulled the codes which turned up as follows:
Key on engine off: 22 (MAP sensor)
Continuous Memory: 121 (TP sensor)
Engine Running: 72, 73, 74 (MAP, MAF, TP sensors)
Is there a way to check these various sensors (Manifold Absolute Pressure, Mass Air Flow, Throttle Position) without just replacing them one by one? Does anyone have any other suggestions or similar problems? Anything would help, I'm just getting started on this project.
Thanks.
