I need to unscrew hex bolts holding the hood switch under the hood in place. Do they have female screws on the other side or are they just screwed in to the body?

You can try posting in the "under the hood" section. This is the "body work and detailing" section. I assume you mean the switch for the factory alarm? I'll take a look at mine and report back. :salute:

OK, I checked it out. My alarm switch is bolted to the inside of the fender. There are metal colored clips that the bolts screw into. If this is what you have then you should be able to just unscrew the bolts. Keep an eye on the clips in case they are loose. They are designed to stay in place but who knows! Hope this helps out. :salute:

You're welcome. Let us know how you make out. :salute:
