Let me just start off with saying... Ike, Matt, Mike, John, Aaron and everyone else here...

I'm sorry for pretty much abandoning everyone at the drop of a hat. I finally replied to one of Ike's PM's tonite and he suggested I drop in and finally tell everyone I'm ok... no, I'm not off fighting overseas (although it would have been a much better explanation of where I've been the past year or so).

What I [have] been doing since I left the forums: I've quit Home Depot (twice),
sold my explorer :( , I'm finishing my freshman year at Bridgewater State majoring in Aviation Science, got my pilots license (working on my instrument rating), got a job at Marshfield Airport, moved out of my house, etc, etc...

If its ok with everyone here I'd like to start hanging around again and make a nuisance of myself (even though I don't currently have a gas-hog ;) )

About time! :D We can nuisant people again! And make fun of more riced/corny cars!

What I didn't tell you I put an 8" turboback muffler and a 2' whaletail on my saab? swedish pride baby, I can't make fun of ricers anymore!

Oh god I'm just kidding...

If rice is japanese, and as Aaron stated american rice is corn, than you drive a swedish meatball. ;)

Ike, this is the closest I've been to wheeling since our hiking adventure:

Nice, kid. Beats the crap out of MY approach, breakover, and departure angles! :)

Iam shocked to see you around tim. I though you died and took the explorer with you. Tisk tisk tisk on selling it..... Will you be attending some of our events this summer?

I should be attending at least some. I just started a new job where I generally work saturdays, but have sunday off. (Though they're somewhat flexible). I AM on the lookout for a clean 2nd gen though that needs a lift so I'm not totally out of the explorer game.

Anyone have a date for the 06' Jamboree? I reaaally wanna plan on going but I have to plan a trip to Nova Scotia with the girlfriend first (and wanna schedule it around the jambo).

I forget if it's posted, but the Jamboree is August 5-6, and there's another small truck show in NH on a Sunday late in July, on the 23rd. By the way, if you plan to lift a V8 ( ) , you may want to look into Aaron's nifty conversion. He's one of very few (perhaps he's the only one) who has true 4wd for his V8 instead of awd.

Great to hear you're back from the dead  Lots of fun stuff being planed for the summer months (trying to get the time to do it all). Why not just lift be the 1st guy with a lifted saab :D

Well hi and welcome back Tim, glad to hear you are doing ok. You've been missed

What have I been doing since you disappeared, well, I got another Explorer to replace my 92 which had one tranny die and the other blow a seal.....you remember Tim, the one I lost the wheel off of going to new Hampshire. I now own a 98 Sport which is sweet. Here's a bit about her. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums//vbgarage.php?do=view&id=17867

I hope to get to meet you this time around at the Jamboree....take care ok :D

Sandy congrats on the new truck! Yeah I still haven't gotten to meet you in person so that has to change this summer.

John I can't wait to see what you've done to your truck. From what I've heard you're the force to be reckoned with in the NE (other than that 1st gen on 40's in NH...) I remember seeing the 33's in your garage but I don't ever think I got to see the lift on :-p

If I remember right, the lift was done around the middle-end of July. John and I were trimming the backs of his front fenders to fit the 33's well enough to eliminate most rubbing shortly before heading nawth to the Jambo.
