New Explorer owner here. Just recently picked up my silver 2008 EX XLT 4.0 4x4. First explorer I have owned, but not new to the Ford family. I previously owned a 99 F150 with a 3" lift. I'm very happy with my purchase so far. I bought the EX with it needing some transmission work. I've looked over the forums here and will be trying to fix the servo piston first, and replacing the valve body gaskets. Hopefully that will stop the slipping from 3rd gear. I have big plans for the EX. Looking at the BTF Fab 3/2.5 lift and UCA and many other smaller mods. Hopefully it will be the baddest Explorer around the area (unless I can find another explorer owner in the area who likes to wheel). Looking forward to being apart of a forum who shares the same love for the EXs. I'm also new to forums so I will try my best to post in the right spots! Thanks!
