New guy from up north, not new to Fords, just explorers/mountaineers. Just picked up a 1998 Merc. Mountaineer XLT 5.0 AWD w/ 180,000 miles. No typical New England rot but I do need to fix a couple of codes. O2 slow to respond and insufficient cat. flow. PO worked at a Ford stealership and got it stickered, now I got to fix these before I can get it stickered. I've owned a couple of new Rangers, an Excursion, a F-150, and my big Bronco (still got) along with a few Mustangs so I do know a few things about Fords, but can still learn things too. John
