Hi all I'm Steve
I ran across this 94 Explorer sport with a 5 speed manual Trans. I had never seen one that was a manual transmission. I got a sweet deal on it plugged the loose spark plug wire in and drove off. Runs drives and shifts great and no rust. After doing research I ended up here. I have aspirations to restore her or modify her and have started hitting local junk yards. Any words of advise? She seems to be a sweet suv

Welcome Steve. Any pics of your 94 Sport?.

Welcome Steve. I've owned my '93 4 door since new and bought it with a 5 speed manual transmission and manual transfer case.

Hi all
Yes I have some pics looks like site dont host so I have to link them. I'll have to set that up some where and I'll post em

Steve, I use photobucket to host my pics, then copy them from there & then paste them here when making a post.

  • Going to take me a bit to get used to this site lol
How does one delete a post?

New members can't delete their own posts.

To link your photos, choose the direct link from Photobucket, then clock on the picture icon in the edit bar... paste the code into that box, and voila ;)

I edited your post above so the image would show.

Thanks Rick
I'll try and get some better pics. I got a sweet deal on this and had no clue what it was until I started fixing her up. 210k on od but was rebuilt at 160-170k then he died. It sat in garage till itwas given to nephew. She has some cosmetic things wrong but she runs and drives great

Exterior not to bad the kid who owned be for me did some damage to her in the wiring and home made mods under the hood. Then when he was done he just let it sit in the hot valley sun to die and sunrott plastic stuff. So sad he didn't appreciate what it was he had. I'm going to put her back together and find her a good home. I miss having a garage(note to self never do condos again ) lol
