I put a little post in the main message centre when I got my Ex, but was suggested I put a thread in here too, so Hi everyone loving the exploder and have a done few bits to it since purchase and this forum has been a real help

My explorer as purchased off Ebay

think I got it for a good price to replace my Jeep, it had a brand new engine at Fords a few years ago so should be good for a while yet


and after a good bufty and a nip n tuck here and there

drives and tows great, got a new heater resistor to sort this weekend

Fantastic condition too- Good to know she has a new lump- how did you swing that?
I am so sure you will never part with the Ex as it beats a Jeep all over anytime!
I am on my second now and have the Northface in Green- I had a white XLT b4 also a great runner- Let us know what you get upto with the Explorer, maybe we can arrange a meet for a pint or two- where are you based mate?

a Jeep was never going to cut it really as I do work for Ford

the Explorers a revalation really much better then I was expecting as I only really bought it as a 3rd car to tow car/horse trailors

I'm right next to Lakeside, but Work in Basildon at Ford Dunton R+D centre, I have noticed the odd sploder on the A13 :biggthump
