I have a few questions and i looked and cant seem to find it here. I have a 1st gen and its an EB. I plan on doing a bit of work to it, its my driver and my baby hauler. 1st thing id like to do is get rid of the electronic transfercase switch, do i have to get a complete new T-case?
2nd Question, about what size lift would i need to do in the front if i plan to just axel over the rear? 4inch doesnt seem like it would be enough. im on a budget so cheap is good to me, but i dont want somethin unsafe for my daughter. Any ideas on how to get thefront up when i do the rear?
If i got a rear axle out of a ranger around same year or newer will i be able to swap gears as well?

thank ou thank you, this site is so win, im on a super tight budget, needed to find a cheap way to set up my x while still having it as my driver.
 






well i saw a thread on here not too long ago with a transfer case conversion kit but it would be cheaper to get one out of a ranger from a junk yard or something as for the lift the soa is gonna give you 5 to 5.5 inches the ranger axle is gonna be smaller and weaker and its a different spline count
 






ok another thing i couldnt find, i just scored a 4 inch lift off of CL brand new $200. and if SOA is going to be about 5, can i use F150 coil seats and that will catch me up? Also next paycheck ordering 3 inch BL. i have never installed one of these so thats going to be a learning experience
 






you could do that or slope the bl search for it on the forum i did my own bl but i had a lift and a shop to do it in buy about 5 cans of liquid wrench cause your gonna need it lol
 






i have the coil spring seats and manual hub conversion if you are interested
