My mom gave me a 97 explorer with 147k on the odometer. I drove it for a couple months and now the transmission is toast, I plan on replacing it with a used transmission soon. I love the explorer and look forward to learning more on this board. I am an automotive mechanic and I live in Glendale AZ. Im 29 with 3 kids. My other car is a 94 civic. My wife drives an 05 explorer.
