New to the forum. I have a 99 Explorer Sport 2 door 4.0 SOHC pretty stock. About the only mods I have made is to put 15' BII rims and tires instead of the 16's and after market driving lights. The PO had lost one in an accident. I also have a 92 4.0 OHV 4dr, stock also. I would like to learn all I can about both.

Needing Parts

Hey there I just bought me a 93 ford explorer 4 door xlt 4x4 4.0 automatic... I am looing for a lift that I can put either some 33's or 35's Dont really know yet? I have a truck jacked up but never done a suv so I was looking for the easiest way out... LOL yeah i know there aint but i was wondering if there was a better or cheaper way of doing it and still can fit my sizre it wont be mud slinging with it at all so i know I can run some shackles More then likely I will do that and tighten up my torsion bars get an easy 1" to 1.5" and I might wont to do body lift but aint sure yet aint a real fan for them. wonder which is a good lift to run on that year explorer please email me back or reply to this. Maxinthedirt@yahoo.com thanks a million

If your looking for cheap then 31's with TT and shackles is about all you can do. Anything above 31's will rub, you could possibly do some fender triming and be able to put on 32's but any bigger you will need a body lift or suspension lift.

Howdy! Welcome to the forum. I'm pretty new as well and everyone has been a big help. 31' is the biggest you can go. once I get some money thats what i'm doing to mine. anyway this site is going to be were you spend alot of time. we all seem to do.
