Hi all !
I just bought another '98 Explorer Sport after a 5 year hiatus...and the fact the ex-wife took it in the divorce and totalled the thing...
I'm glad to be back in the seat of one of these cool little trucks and I can't wait to fix her up. I bought it a couple weeks ago for $2500...It runs great, shifts great, and stops great. As far as I can tell it has almost every option save for leather seats...but it needs a little work here and there, a few dents, small crack in the windshield, and some shoddy bodywork done to the front clip (nothing a fender and possibly a hood and some paint can't smooth over). Overall it doesn's look that bad at all and has very minor rust. It has about 120,000 on the odometer and has the 4.0 Litre SOHC engine...crappy mileage but it has a lot of pep.
With that said, I look forward to getting to know everyone and I definitely will have a million questions in the near future.
