So here I am introducing myself. I havent done the forum thing in a long while so forgive me if i leave something out.

Basically, I just bought a 2005 Ford Explorer XLT. Black on Black, alloy wheels, leather interior, 3rd row. I live in the Miami area, I'm a 30 yr old single dad of two boys. I am a chef. I own a catering company. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please ask...?

thanks everyone for the welcome.

i just bought my 05 X and it has some weird goings on already.

96K miles

wont rev past 3000

doesnt accelerate when turning unless i step on it a little more than would be considered completely normal

makes a strange noise when accelerating (like when you turn the key after the car is already on) sometimes

A/C doesnt blow as hard as expected and it sounds like it is blowing like crazy inside the dash (disconnected hose??)

hardly accelerates in lower gears if at all (3,2,1)

i cant remember what else right now

i know i have to go searching for these things in the forum. if you guys feel so inclined as to point me toward the thread already posted via link that would be awesome and greatly appreciated
