1996 Explorer
Well, I brought myself a 1996 Explorer with 'issues'. Pretty sure i'm getting too old for fooling around with cars but I just can't help myself lol. I'm currently waiting for my manual to turn up in the post but have so far discovered that the 4wd is contantly engaged. I suspect it is a wiring problem because the interior lights, hood light, 4wd system and a few other bits and pieces all related to fuse '27' are not functioning. Yes yes, I changed the fuse lol. I'll just have to keep hunting for the problem. I know the previous owner changed the transmission so maybe he damaged something during this process?? Who knows - I'll keep you all posted!! Have a good one!!

Darren.
