Just registered for this site. While I'm not sure I'm what you would call an automobile enthusiast, I have driven my 91 Explorer (my first car) now for 6 years and I have come to the conclusion that it is indeed a fine, fine automobile, the perfect choice for my first vehicle really. But still, it is aging, now in excess of 185k miles and from time to time problems do occur. I very recently replaced the lower intake manifold gasket, which was my first foray into real automotive diy repair, and I got a taste for it. The helpful threads and search tools helped me a lot during the process, and this seems to be the place to come for information. So anyways, here I am!
