hid lights flickering

I just purchased some hid lights, installed them, and they turned on. But all isnt so well when I just have my running lights on, the lights either flicker really fast, or one light or the other is on. The hid bulb also won't illuminate after I turn the lights on then turn them off, then try to turn them back on. Any suggestions?

Are they 35w of 55w? You might need a hid relay harness kit to supply the ballasts with the correct power. This would work and is priced right.

They are 35w, thanks for the reply. I called the guy I bought them from and he said the exact same thing.
