Buy yourself a Test Light. 5 or 6 bucks and it will help in many elect./lighting projects.

Funny you should say that....I'm am electrician and I have more testers you can poke a stick at .......... But there all in my shop, that's why I thought I would ask my fellow X mates the question. Any way the high beam wire on a 2003 Explorer is the Green one on the drivers side light.

P.S. Stay away for those 5 dollar testers........

I have been using a test light like this (cheap) for years. It does what its supposed to do. Ground the clip and probe the wire till you find the hot one and the light in the handle goes on. Not much to wear out or go wrong. (They may be up to $8 or so now.)

Bill I'm not having a go at your tester, if you have some knowledge ( which I know you do because I have read lots of your threads ) it's fine, but if you don't you would be surprised at the things people have used them for..
