got a 1992 explorer just got it took it on a road trip to austin an hour out of town pulled over to check fluids. when i put it in park rpms jumped to 3000.
shut the truck off checked fluids statred it back upran fine. got to austin parked did the same thing. on the way back check engine light came on i pulled over shut it off started it up did fine. took it too the shop to have it checked out they couldnt pull up any codes. in town it never does this on the highway after about an hour it does it. any suggestions. im new to the site
