High/low 4 wheel lights blink,and doesn't work

The lights blink 6 times every 2 min. The dealer said the motor was probably bad. Can anyone help with this?

I read the other thread on this, but I have another Q does any one know how to reset the computer ? will I have to have the dealer perform this ?

The same thing happened to my Explorer the day I got it a couple months ago. I took it to a shop and it turned out that it was just the relay that was bad. So I'd try checking on that.

Reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes or so.
I had the same problem with my Explorer--just needed to reset the computer. $120 was given to the dealer to tell me that.

same thing happened to my 96 a week after i bought it, took it to the dealer and they said it was probably something wrong with the switch, i told the 4 wheel was acting funny too, but they just ignored that, a week later i took it in for and oil change and the shop noticed the tranfer case drain plug was gone, (oops no oil), took it back to the dealer, said they wouldn't cover it. so we took it somewhere else and they installed a new t-case, the we took the sun of a b___ dealer to court and sued them for $1500, how bout that
