High Temp/Low Oil Pressure Light.

I've seen this problem listed before on this forum but with no definitive answer.
On my 2003 Eddie Bauer Explorer the High temp/Low oil pressure light comes on occasionally. Never for more than a few seconds. My mechanic and the Ford Dealer shop both say it could be multiple things that need to be checked. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what remedies may be tried.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2002-2005 section. Clean the battery terminals & ground wiring, and check the charging system to see if it's working properly.

"A cluster costs a grand" ?!?!!?!?!?! huh? You have heard of a junkyard, right? Should be between $75-$150, depending on mileage and availability.
