As an owner of an XLT, which does not have HID lights, I was looking for an inexpensive way to get a whiter light. In this endeavor I saw a few recommendations for the HIR type lights and followed the link to http://www.hirheadlights.com/ which is also www.finemotoring.com
In hopes that I would get a good bulb and a whiter light, I made my purchase via Paypal. The guys name who responds is a "Max Lumens" which I thought was funny but the bulbs did get a "rec" from someone here.
Long story short, I put one bulb in today and stood across the street to look at the bulbs. I have LED's in my fogs so I am looking for a whiter light.
Nothing, nada, no different. If anything, the light when looking at it vs the OEM appeared to give a slightly different pattern. Regardless, in standing across the street with my neighbor, we did not see any difference that would leave me to offer even the slightest recommendation for purchase.
I have contacted the website to see how they reply and I will present the response openly and honestly here on the board.
