Hey guys, title says it all. I don't have any codes or loss of power. MPG could be better in town but I got 20 on the freeway last month on vacation. I really notice the hissing in the drive through because the sound bangs off the wall. I'm thinking vacum leak. What do ya'll think?

I've got the same noise, more so in reverse.
I think it's coming from the tranny, possibly the pump hissing?
Car runs and drives great, MPG is a little low but most of my driving is local streets.

Oh great the tranny huh. So not a cheap fix? If that's the case, I'll just run it til it blows and figure out a plan when I need to. I was hopping the SOHC has a common leak somewhere and I would be a matter of putting a new hose on somewhere...

Anyone else got any ideas? Not discrediting my98nnj at all, just looking for all the possibilities.
