hitch question

Not really a towing question, but a hitch question instead. I am looking for a front mounted hitch for my 96 explorer but I am having a hard time finding one for some reason. I see some that will fit 99-01 but I can't seem to find anything for my year. Does anyone know if the 99-01 will work for me or know where I can get one for my year? I could have sworn I saw some company make one for my year explorer at some point. Thanks everyone!

I believe the frame sections are the same, the bumper openings aren't though. You could make one work, but be prepared to modify your bumper.
