2000 Explorer 5L
Hey all, Eddie here. Not new to Explorers, (had a 97 and 2000 4L), but I'll be keeping this one for a while. It's a 2000, my first 5L that I got back in December. 1 owner with a little less than 170K when bought (~188K now). I stepped into some ish and found a set of Ranger Alcoas for a steal. Plan is to replace the shot 31s and give it a little bit of a lift. Already bought Wulf shackles, shocks are next, although I'm not sure if I can use factory length or I need longer ones. I have a bit of research ahead of me.

Eddie, welcome to the forum. I installed Warrior shackles on my Wife's 99 Sport & I am using the stock length rear shocks.

Sorry for the late reply, but how much lift did the Warrior shackles give you? I ended up getting Ranchos, and the Wulf shackles go from 1-3" lift I think.

Eddie, the Warrior shackles & the coil assist rear shocks gave the rear of the Explorer almost 2" of lift.
