Well, several months ago my hood lost a fight to north dakota wind. After consulting a friend who works aircraft sheet metal, it was determined the hinges are slightly bent. anyone ever replace these? it looks like four bolts on the truck, another two on the hood, and i'd be good to go. does the whole assembly come out as one piece? any help is greatly appreciated!!

It's pretty much as simple as unbolting them and putting new ones in. Perfect piece to come from a JY, as they almost never break. It's all one assembly. It can even be done with one person if you are good.

one tip though, and it should work for you. to keep the hood in the same alignment, i would trace around where the hinges are now, so when you put them back in, it'll be the same as it was before.
