A couple of people on the board have them. Do a search for "hood scoops" and you should find the posts. Someone even converted them into functional scoops.

I would get them and do that. ! !:D

yup, several people have them.... do a search, you will find more than youll ever need to know about them....

are you going to make them functional?

not really sure .. if i do them then yes im pretty sure i will make them functional

I've got them actually. i had them painted to match and i installed them myself. they were really easy to install. Just some 3M tape and some patience to make sure they are lined up evenly. You can even use a crayon to outline them, then put them on and wax off the crayon.
Mine aren't functional, I'd like to but not right now. Some people dont like them because they are obviously fake but my truck is black and since they are painted to match, you dont notice it right away. and it give my truck a little bit of roughness.
letme see if i can scan a pic for you .

a pic would be very nice i will make them functional if i get them just figuring out how to cut the hood ....

If you click the link below and go to page two you'll see pics of my scoops....

Bobby...The truck is tight...Those scoops (functional or not) look bad a55...

One suggestion, and I sure that you have probably heard it before (if not yea for me), with those wheels you have I would put some rhino liner or spray paint the outside of the brake drums. It would cover up the ugly rust color. Other than that I like it alot...

ive looked at yours before bobby i really like it what did you use to cut the hood and how long did it take you? and any other advice would be helpful

I just used a jig-saw with a metal blade.... and it took me half aday for the whole project with two trips into town for stuff.... I had a write up on here but I'm not sure if the link works..... if ya find it in the serch you can try it, hope it still works....... anyways I'll be making a new write up later........... Good luck

Do the scoops run into your air intake for the engine or are they just putting fresh air under the hood? I was wondering cuz if that were the case, i was wondering if you were having any problems with water in your intake when it rains....

I picked up a set of scoops after I ran my first trails on a hot day with the KKM. On the HWY it was warming up as well so I know my truck could run better with some cooler air to grab. One concern about these lund scoops being functional. I'd hate to see one rip off when going about 70 mph. Did anyone's 3m tape seem a little sketchy when not functional cause I think these are lame unless used for a real purpose but I am not sure if I can trust the 3m tape with wind being forced under them. Anyone use rivets with this setup?

anybody know anything about putting the tear drop scoops toward the outside of the hood? I have my club logo airbrushed in the middle and was wondering about doing the tear drop scoops (functional).
