Hose from front axle?

There's a hose that goes out of my front axle which has been leaking differential fluid. The hose has a weird fitting at the end of it and right now it is just dangling down, I can't figure out where the right place to mount it is, hopefully one of you will know what I am talking about here. Thanks!

its a axle breather hose meant to keep water out of the axle.
Now the question is have you driven in high water recently? if so time to change the oil

Thankfully, I haven't driven it through water. How do I go about re-attaching it to its original position? Pics would be awesome.
