Houston, TX Explorer Owner Meet-up?

Ok, in the last 3 days I've noticed several users with Spring, Houston, etc. listed as their hometown. I'm in The Woodlands/Conroe area. Seems we have a lot of us concentrated in one area. Anyone interested in doing a meet up in Spring? Maybe we can have a 'who has the most MFT crashes in 1 hr' competitions! As a former Jeep owner we used to have meet-ups all the time.

Just curious to those in the Houston area, where all did you buy your explorers from?

A get together would be awesome! Unfortunately, we aren't planning to buy any time soon. So far, we are looking for a purchase 6 months to a year out at this point.

I have been haunting this place as a great source of information for the interested buyer and would enjoy a get together.

On a completely unrelated side note, looking at this thread title made me think of something. I have a friend who gets irritated every time Houston is referred to as Houston, Texas, whereas Dallas is just Dallas. Like people don't know where the 4th largest city in the U.S. is. It rubs him the wrong way in the worst way! It is a constant source of irritation to him and I laugh every single time. He is not a fan of Dallas, but then again, who is!

what's going on fellas....i've lived in spring for about 1 1/2 yrs now. i used to live inside the loop....... i haven't done car meets since i had my mazdaspeed 3. work hours have been crazy and now that i have a newborn, free time is almost non existent...maybe once the baby is a lil older i can get out of the house....

LOL, got a kick out of your comment about getting out of the house, it is too true. We have a 2 year old who is practicing his mastery of the word "NO!" right now. He has it just about perfected
