I have a '91 XLT with the standard size tire. I'm not sure how big they are, but i'm guessing 27", maybe a little larger, but i do not know. I was wondering how big a tire will fit on the standard wheels and without lifting my truck.

29, 30, maybe 31.....
Stock is 28
Do a search, I'm sure you will find LOTS of info on this.
I have seen stock 91 rigs that run 31's. I ran the 31 on the stock rim with 2/2 lift and rubbed the sway.

I ran 31's on my 92 and would get a slight rub
when I turned the wheels full. After I installed
the Warrior shackles and spring spacers no problem. Plus is looks really good now.

My 31's slightly rub with the lift. So it just depends on the vehicle. Some can fit with no lift and some can't.

I think my cousin runs 31s on his stock 91 2wd. If they aren't 31s then they are definitely 30s, but i'm pretty sure that they are 31s and he has no problems at all.

i have 31's with my 93 with no rub... youll deff get a 30 under there. Sometimes some 31's are bigger then others... i have herd people say that BFG 31's are bigger the Pirelli 31's.
