- 1994 Eddie Bauer
I just bought a 1994 Eddie Bauer Explorer. I did the transfer case motor rebuild and was able to get the 4 wheel drive to start switching to 4 hi and 4 low with no problem.
Here is my problem I think the Auto locking hub is shot on the drivers side. When I spin the back tires in grass the front drivers wheel makes a grinding sound.. I am able to turn the axle behind the wheel and see the axle turn that goes to the transfer case so I think the front axle is ok.
Can I be sure it is just the auto hub? I am wanting to do the manual hub conversion .. is there a step by step on here? I looked and could not find it ..
Is there a place to order the hubs and the conversion kit?
Thanks
