Must've gotten mighty toasty in there with no way to turn the heat off :D

Crankcase, thats a good list, but you forgot about the BLUE interior option! It was pretty ugly though, and i doubt if anyone cares.

Its not too bad, you can still turn the fan off, and direct the heat towards the floor or defrost.

Cool info! I learn so much!

One question though...what exactly does
"XLT" stand for?

how about "XLS"?

1991 had black door armrests, 92-94 were door color.
this is not true. my 91 has colored door arm rest and i have the blue interior and its not ugly :P

What is the build date on your door jamb sticker? Do you have a dual cupholder?

Some late 91's had 92 pieces......

I did not include things that were the same all the way throughout 91-94.

The blue interior made it until 95 or 96 I believe....

Really? I was just kidding about that statement. I just assumed that you could turn it off, but the word "Off" wasn't on the dial. Hmmm, learn something new every day

If you listen very carefully, the fan is never all the way off using just the knob....

Yeah. Actually earlier I was in a friend's '92, and we were discussing the differences, and I noticed what you meant about that. Oh well, weird

Somewhere I read on my X that you had to turn the a/c on with the fan on off to truly turn the fan off. But now I can't rmember where I read that. BTW my fan has an 'off' position. It's a '92.

i think mine was early 91 and i have the 60 40 seat so no cup holder none just an ashtray

Are you talking about the rear seat? The front benches are 40/20/40. The rear never had a cupholder for first gens.....

both of my seats, front and rear are 60/40, and no cupholders, and I cant find any seat covers to fit them. i cant even find a cheap walmart console for the hump cause of my manual t-case lever. I tried this thing called the wedge that slid in the crack between the seats but it was worthless. oh ya, is the tailgate the same 91 thru 94, then it switches in 95? If so, how come some 93 tailights arent interchangeable with 91's?

thats true what about the corner lens will the ranger 89-94 fit an explorer 91-94 and the tails i figured somthing out for those

jason

ohh yeah one more thing brush guards will the same year ranger fit on my ex just wondering they have them for the rangers for the price im looking for but not the ex
