How can you tell what Rearend gears you have?

I checked the sticker on my door but it does not show anything...use the VIN?....I am wondering what gears are in my rearend. ...I want to be able to tow about 5K without any problems....looking at buying a Travel Trailer....

The VIN is not going to tell you what gears you have. Unless it has been removed there should be a sticker on the drivers side door jam with a 2 or three didgit code.

If it's missing there should be a tag on the rear diff cover.

Most likely you have 3.73 gears as I beleive (don't quote me) that all 5.0 AWD came with 3.73 gears.

The tag on the Rear End reads L73 ..I believe you are correct..this would be the Limited Slip 3.73 ....is that good for towing?

Yes. That will be good for towing.

I highly recomend putting a class III receiver hitch on if you do not have one.
