Ok.. For those of you who were following my body lift instal, you know it didn't go very smooth. I put 2 nice gashes about 1" long and 1/3" deep on my elbow. Of course I was man (stupid) enough to ignore it until I was done working. When I was done I noticed some blood stains on my leather seats. That was all about 2 weeks ago. Since then I've been busy and lazy and haven't cleaned it. So now.... what is the best way to clean my leather seats and get the blood off in the process???

You cover your seats with plastic before you :shoot:

The best way that i have found to clean stains from my leather is to cake on the leather cleaner\conditioner, let it sit for 3-5 min the go back with some more on a rag, towel works best, and rub on it till it comes off. This worked for my rust stains that i had from putting a 2 ton floor jack on my back seat without putting something over it first! Never tried blood stains though. good luck.

if all else fails try putting a little bit of gasoline in a rag and wipe with it. Then immidiately after that clean with a wet rag. and of course some air freshner after that to take care of the smell!

I'd stay away from gasoline or anything with solvents in it.

First get as much off as you can with a damp white terri-cloth towel. Don't scrub just dab/blot. It could take a while. Keep turning the cloth until it stays clean.

For what ever is left try a DROP! of ERA laundry detergent on another damp white terri-cloth towel. Go through the dab/blotting

It will take a while but it is about the safest way to go.

Trick from my high-school carpet/furniture cleaning days...

Good luck.
